Alecia Ann Schaeffer was born in Kalispell, Montana on August 2 1977 to Frank H. Schaeffer Jr and Lorena R Enger.

Alecia went to grade school in Wells Nevada, Whitefish Montana and Helena Flats. She graduated with honors from Columbia Falls High School in 1995 and moved to Spokane in 1996. Alecia and Jesse Aguilar met on December 31st 1996. As they were growing their relationship, they were given their bundle of joy in their daughter Kaylee in March of 1998. Year after year they were together and got new and exciting things to see. They watched Kaylee graduate, bought a home together, and saw Kaylee marry their son in law Derick. Then in 2021, they were gifted their greatest gift of all, their granddaughter Lila who affectionately called her Gaga. Alecia’s day was brightest when Lila was around. We will miss seeing her face light up when she sees her family.

Alecia is survived by her mom Lorena Schaeffer, partner Jesse Aguilar, her daughter Kaylee, her husband Derick and her favoritist person; her granddaughter Lila. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that she loved very much. Alecia went home to join her family and friends on August 10th, 2026 and is no longer in pain.
