Alice Lucile Smethurst, 67, of Pullman, WA passed away May 1, 2018 at her Pullman home.  Alice was born Dec. 7, 1950 in Mount Lake Terrace, WA to Fred & Alice (Tucker) Smethurst.  She grew up in Mount Lake Terrace where she graduated from high school.  Alice received her degree in accounting from Gonzaga University and worked for a time for the Seattle Public Schools.  She located to Pullman, WA where she began her career at Washington State University, where she was the Payroll Director in payroll services until her retirement.  Alice enjoyed genealogy and was involved in Pulmonary Hypertension causes.  Alice is survived by her brother John E. Hill and numerous cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Alice was interred at the Pullman City Cemetery in a family service.  Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
