Amye L. Cloninger was born October 9, 1973 in Everett, Washington. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at her home in Colfax, Washington with family by her side.

Amye was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She worked for 13 years at Cougar Foodmart and 5 years at Whitman Hospital. She had to stop working due to health reasons. Amye loved to spend time with her family and friends as well as gardening. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and riding on the Harley with Pat. Amye was very loved and will be missed greatly.

Amye is survived by her spouse Patrick Cloninger; parents Linda K. Weitman and Duane L. Herman; her daughter Kaytra Hanes (Nathen Toombs) of Spokane, brothers Stefan Herman (Rona) in Indiana, Aaron Herman (Christine) in Nevada, and Jim Herman (Chelsea) in Bow, Washington; she also leaves her step-children; Jake Cloninger (Brandi) in Garfield, Washington, Robin Cloninger (Jane) in Garfield and Lonny Cloninger (Crystal) in Pullman, Washington and many grandkids, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her step-dad John G. Weitman and her late-husband Shane M. Hanes.
