She was sent to Cape Canaveral to represent the Air force for projects relating to the space shuttle. She put together a committee that saved the A10 Warthog program and was recognized by pilots and colonels for her work. She was a true genius, this morning, November 2, 2022, she passed peacefully in her home at the age of 90.
Carolyn was preceeded in death by her husband Harold Taylor, her son Michael Taylor, brother Tom Burgess and both parents.
She is survived by 5 of her 6 children John Taylor (Deb), Ann Nelms (Adrian), Zee Sumlin (Kevin), Katy O Donnell (Mike), Jackie Taylor.
