CATHERINE JEAN PARR, 84, a lifelong Pullman, WA resident died Feb. 13, 2016 at her Pullman home. Catherine was born Jan. 27, 1932 in Pullman to Arthur & Martha (Moser) Yost. She grew up in Pullman, graduating from Pullman High School. Catherine married Glenn Frank Parr following his return from the war and together they have made Pullman their home since that time. Together Glenn and Catherine built their Dexter street home where she was a homemaker and raised the family. Catherine also worked as a housekeeper through the years for various Pullman families. She had many interests and hobbies among which she especially enjoyed gardening, baking and canning. Catherine is survived by her son Frank at the family home in Pullman; her daughters Tami (Tom) Allen of Moscow; Sandy (Mark) Hoffarth of Kennewick, WA; her brother Don Yost of Pullman; nine grandchildren and also her great grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Glenn in 1998. Private family graveside services will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Pullman, WA. Kimball Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family. Memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
