Cheri Travis, 49, died unexpectedly on September 6, 2014 in Colfax, WA. She was born to Norman and Marilyn Nelson Travis on May 17, 1965. She was raised on a farm outside of Pullman and graduated from Pullman High School in 1983. After High School Cheri traveled and worked in Hawaii, and the North Slope of Alaska. She worked in Kent, WA and then returned to work for WSU from 1993-2000 as a Food Service Supervisor. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and tending to her dogs. After the death of her Mother, Cheri took care of her Father until his death. She is preceded in death by her sister Marsha Remer, and her parents. She is survived by her siblings Terry Travis of Pullman, WA, Sandy Travis of Anchorage, AK, Michelle Travis of Lewiston, ID, Lisa Travis of Spanaway, WA, Tamela Travis Ranicke of Anchorage, AK, and Todd Travis of Lewiston, ID, and her nephew and niece Joey & Katie Travis of Pullman, WA.
A memorial service will be held at the Colfax Nazarene Church Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 am. Kimball Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
