Cheryl Lee Doty, 85, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025 in Pullman, Washington after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was born on April 25, 1940, in Colfax, Washington to Wayne and Mary (Scheoff) Doty, where she grew up and attended local schools, graduating with the Colfax High School class of 1958.

After high school, Cheryl pursued her passion for helping others by earning her bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. Before completing her degree, she began working for Dr. Temple in Colfax as an assistant and continued working for him as a hygienist after graduation. Cheryl went on to work in Spokane and the Tri-Cities, where she continued her dental hygiene career for more than 35 years, touching countless lives with her professionalism, kindness, and care.

Outside of work, Cheryl was known for her creativity and adventurous spirit. She was an avid crafter, loved cross-country and downhill skiing, and had a deep love of travel. Wherever he journeys took her, Cheryl found joy in gathering with her seven siblings. She often planned their trips, and her thoughtful organization and enthusiasm made those times especially memorable.

She is survived by her two brothers, Robert "Bob" Doty and Pat Doty, and her sister, Ann Stevens, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Doty, Dan Doty, and Mike Doty; her sister, Margaret Hilty; her nephews, Kevin Doty; and her parents. There are no public services scheduled at this time.
