David Allen Futchko, 32, of Colfax, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2014 in Colfax. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Colfax.
David was born September 5, 1981 in Spokane to Steven and Arlene (Howard) Futchko. He grew up and attended schools in Spokane. When he was a boy he ran around with a group of kids known as the KSP; "Krazy Style Players". As a teenager David really developed his interest in cars and music of all types. After completing his G.E.D. he attended Spokane Community College for a couple years and became a certified auto technician. David lived in Cheney for a few years and was back in Spokane when he met Heidi Marshall of Colfax. They became partners and soul mates September 25, 2012 and have been fairly inseparable since. They enjoyed RV camping, going on dates or out to dinner and generally just loved spending time together. David worked at Arby's in Colfax for quite a while and attended the Colfax United Methodist Church. He was adamant to "customize" anything and would put his special touch on anything he owned. He always did things in pink as a nod to his support for cancer awareness and he liked to garden, especially with Heidi's parents, Ron and Shelly McMasters of Colfax. David is survived by his mother and step-father, Arlene and Monte Wilson of Kettle Falls, WA; 2 daughters, Justine Conley of Elk, WA and Diamond Futchko of Spokane; a brother, Nate Wilson also of Spokane; his maternal grandmother, Sharon Dearing of Spokane; his fiancé', Heidi Marshall of Colfax and her parents Ron and Shelly McMasters also of Colfax. He was preceded in death by a brother, Levi Wilson in 1995 and by his father. Memorial contributions in David's honor are suggested to a memorial fund in his name, c/o the Colfax United Methodist Church.
