IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David P
Repp, Jr.
October 30, 1942 – October 13, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad David P Repp, JR, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated pharmacist, who left us on October 13th at the age of 81.
Born on October 30, 1942, in Colfax, Washington, Dave dedicated his life to serving others. He graduated from Washington State University with a degree in pharmacy and spent over 50 years as a pharmacist at the Elk Drug Store and Shopko in Pullman, where he was known not only for his expertise but also for his kindness and compassion toward his everyone he served. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making them feel seen and heard. He was very proud to be the first Pharmacist at Whitman Hospital and Medical Center.
As a devoted husband to Mary Lyndell Mettler, their love story spanned over 50 years, marked by unwavering support and laughter. Together, they created a warm and loving home for their children, Evelyn, David and Cody, who carry forward the values of kindness and service that he instilled in them.
Dave was also a proud grandfather to all his grandkids and great-great grandson, each cherished the time spent with him. His stories, wisdom, and gentle spirit will forever remain in their hearts. He was a loyal and dedicated Washington State Cougar Fan and enjoyed watching their games. He was also an expert on Oak Island and Gold Rush.
Beyond his professional life, Dave was deeply involved in his community. He volunteered at Community Organizations and was a member of Rotary, where he forged lasting friendships and made a positive impact on those around him. His commitment to helping others extended far beyond his pharmacy, and he will be remembered for his generous spirit and unwavering dedication.
He is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and a community that will forever feel his absence.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 24th at 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, where family and friends are invited to celebrate Daves's remarkable life.
