Delbert "Del" Junior Simmons passed away at his home in St. John February 9, 2012 at the age of 74. Del was born in Colfax, WA June 1, 1937 to Frank and Alice Simmons. He graduated high school in 1955, and joined the ARMY. After the army Del joined the National Guard. Del married his wife Rosa Hibbs on July 3rd, 1971. He was a lifelong mechanic and in 1986 opened his own business, Dell's Repair, in St. John WA from which he retired in 2001. Del loved to shoot trap, and was a member of the Pine City Gun Club. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in his garden, along with making trips to the casino at the Indian Reservation. Del is survived by his wife Rosa at their home in St. John; children, Tina Deyoung, John Hibbs, Tyler Simmons, and Lynn Foster. Grandchildren Isaac and Addison Fosler, Dovey Hibbs, Johnathan Hibbs, Levi Vaughn, Denton Vaughn, and Danielle Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his parents.
