Denny Tao Curran, age 6 a Pullman first grader, died at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane on July 16, 2018 following a bicycle accident near his home in Pullman. Denny was a vibrant youth with a huge tender heart, a warm smile, and loud contagious laughter for all to see. He was born December 23, 2011 in Willimantic, Connecticut to Keith Curran and Haiying Tao.  Denny was best friends with his brother, Michael, who is two years older.

Denny moved to Pullman from Connecticut when he was three.  He graduated Kindergarten at Franklin Elementary, Mrs Deens class.   He loved his school.  Denny was fun loving and adventurous; he loved to fish with his dad and brother, swim and ride his bike. Denny had a jovial spirit and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be missed by those who love him most; his parents, Keith and Haiying, his brother, Michael, all at their home in Pullman and by his grandparents living in China and in South Carolina and by his extended family in Connecticut. An opportunity for viewing and paying respects will be Saturday, July 28th, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pullman followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the church.
