Drake Michael Montenegro, 19, of Albion, WA passed away Oct. 25, 2018 from injuries received in an automobile accident outside of Albion.  Drake was born May 27, 1999 in Moscow, ID. He grew up and attended Moscow and Boise schools until moving to Selah, WA where he graduated from high school in 2017.  Drake attended Yakima Community College for a time and recently had moved back to Albion, WA. He called himself "The Pineapple King".  He loved the symbolism of a pineapple – to stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside. Drake enjoyed all things related to computers. He loved fixing them, reading about them and building them.  He enjoyed reading and especially loved his family. Spending time with them was always important. Drake was a Christian and attended the Real Life Church on the Palouse. Drake is survived by his mother, Christiana Foiles of Selah, WA; his sister, Kali Foiles; Grandmother, Susan Montenegro; Aunts, Martha Montenegro & Mistirose Montenegro; Uncle, Philip Montenegro and cousins, Alexis & Jacob Sheridan and Keira & Gunner Montenegro.  Viewing will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8th from 1 to 6 pm at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman, WA.  The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at the funeral home.  Vault interment will be held at the Albion Cemetery.
