Drew Allan Erickson passed away on May 28, 2026, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle after a lengthy illness. He was 56. He was the son of Norman and Gloria Erickson of Colfax, WA.

Drew grew up in the Dusty area. He graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1988 and from Washington State University in 1993 with a degree in business and finance.

As a young boy, Drew loved to help his Grandpa Stueckle on the farm. He had a sharp mind that made him seem much older than his years. In his teen and college years, Drew enjoyed working on the farm with his dad, trucking for area farmers, and fixing up antique cars. He was a good mechanic and auto body technician.

Drew married his college sweetheart, Jacinda Leigh Pickett, in 1996. They settled in the Seattle area where he worked in finance. Their marriage ended. Drew married Alix Compton in 2006 and continued to live and work in the Seattle area. That marriage also ended.

Although Drew struggled with several health issues for much of the past 15 years, he loved to reminisce about old times and reconnect with old friends.

Drew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, GR & Rachel Stueckle, and his paternal grandparents, Bennett & Carol Erickson; his brother-in-law, Aaron Repp; and a nephew, Braaten Nilsen. Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Dana Repp, Kjirsti (Ryan) Nilsen, and Ronda (Brian) Clark; three nephews, Derek & Darin Repp, Owan Nilsen and five nieces, Clara, Elsie, & Annie Nilsen, Chloe & Hannah Clark; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be a graveside service for Drew on Saturday, June 27th at 4:00pm at the Dusty Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Union Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice.
