Edwin L. Cain
Edwin L. Cain passed away June 19, 2017, of congestive heart failure. He was born February 27, 1959, to Emmitt L. and Flossie E. Cain. He was raised on a wheat and cattle ranch in Lacrosse/Hooper, Washington where he learned skills to repair and fix almost anything! He was blessed with the amazing talent and skill to be a superb heavy equipment mechanic. He worked for Jones Truck & Implement in Colfax and Spokane for many years and was the area "trouble shooter" to fix what other mechanics couldn't figure out.
Edwin also had the ability to bargain on Craigslist and Spaulding's wrecking yard to rebuild a broken down pick-up truck and make it a useable running vehicle. He always kept his vehicle immaculately clean, even with hauling around his dog, Ben.
Edwin also was gifted with the incredible talent to landscape a property to make awesome results by putting in numerous hours to beautiful the final results. He saw life without limitations and pushed forth daily with is strong will and determination. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Thank you for the memories and the adventures!
Edwin leaves behind two daughters, Erin and Alise, five grandchildren, two sisters, Julie and Alice, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons ,J.R. & Andrew and a beloved brother, Emmitt Dale.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax, WA.
