Elza G. EARLL, age 69, died December 18, 2010 in his home on Camano Island surrounded by his family after a 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Chewelah, WA Sept. 7, 1941 Elza was the only child of Willis Earll. Before attending Washington State University to study engineering, Elza served in the National Guard. After college, he met and married Beverly Traaen Earll, his wife of 44 years. Elza and Bev moved to the Seattle area in 1966 where they welcomed the birth of their son Tim in 1968. Elza retired from Boeing after over 30 years of service. He and Bev enjoyed sailing for many years - together and with Tim, traveling in their RV and many wonderful friendships over the years. Elza was much loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Beverly and son Tim and daughter-in-law Jenni. Private family burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery next to his father. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, Dec. 26th at 1:00 pm at the United Church of Christ in Chewelah. A Celebration of Elza's life will be held January 8, 2011 at the Camano Yacht Club.
