Eugene A. Goss, 82, a Thornton, WA area resident, died Tuesday January 11, 2011, at his home. Born May 29, 1928 in Arbuckle, CA, he was the son of Eugene and Christine Goss. Mr. Goss was a "jack of all trades," working as a farmer, mechanic, and truck driver throughout his life. He worked at a dairy plant delivering milk and also hauled grain to farmers for many years. After moving to Washington from California in 1951, Eugene has made his home in Rosalia, Steptoe, Central Ferry, and more recently, Thornton, WA. Mr. Goss was the last of his family's generation, but he leaves behind two daughters, Aleta Kim Goss of Thornton, WA and Allison Lin Kings, of Templeton, CA; a son, Douglas Eugene Goss of Frederick, MD; and a grandson, Clint Michael Scott, of Lewiston. There will be no services. Bruning Funeral Home of Colfax is caring for the family.
