EVELYN A. "EVIE" REISENAUER, 82, of Colton, passed away Nov. 13, 2015 at Pullman Regional Hospital. Evie was born July 12, 1933 in Moscow, ID to Herman & Helen (Dahmen) Cox She grew up in Uniontown, WA where she attended school. Following graduation from high school, Evelyn moved to Lewiston where she worked in the banking industry for a time. On May 2, 1953 Evelyn married Donald Reisenauer. They lived in Oregon for a time, returning to Colton in 1959 and operate the family farm. Evie has made Colton her home since that time. Evelyn loved the season of Christmas and often would make it a yearlong preparation process. Her family was always center in her heart and the time spent together was appreciated. She was a devoted member of St. Gall Catholic Church in Colton as well as the St. Gall Alter Society. Evelyn was also active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a devoted fan of the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Settle Mariners through the years. Evelyn also followed NASCAR Racing. She is survived by her son Frank (Roxy) Reisenauer of Colton; her daughter Millie (Larry) West of Lewiston; one brother Mel Cox of Fresno, CA; three grandchildren Jason (Cristin) Reisenauer; Brandy (Eric) Eilertson; Brandi Thrall; nine great grandchildren Madylann, Alex, Ashley, Kyle, Kayla, Cody, Kylie, Jack & Ben and her daughter at heart Becky Newbill. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2009 and a brother Dale Cox. The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at 7 PM at St. Gall Catholic Church in Colton, WA. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 11 AM at St. Gall. Burial will follow at St. Gall Catholic Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA is in charge of arrangements.
