After Charles passed away, Farrel married Gordon Knott and the couple moved to the Union Flat area where they lived and farmed. In 1980 they moved "into town" at St. John and began enjoying their retirement. Farrel and Gordon loved to golf, travel the country together and spend time at their second home in Mesa, Arizona.
Farrel is survived by her sons Robert "Mike" (Chung Ja) Clark of Greenacres, Washington and John (Harriet) Clark of Olympia; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and her brother Larry (Polly) Franzen of Clarkston.
