Gina Lee Krag Aldrich, Colfax resident, passed away at her home Wednesday, January 6, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 54. Gina was born March 27, 1961 in Omak, Washington to Melbern and Virginia Skelton. She was the middle child and growing up was a very active girl. She excelled in track and field in high school and as an active runner she also loved cross country. She graduated from the Omak High School in 1979 and attended Washington State University in Pullman where she also participated on the track team. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration 5 years later. She married Keven Krag in 1984 and they made their home in Pullman. She owned and operated the Body Magic fitness center in Pullman and also the Sun Shop tanning salon. She and Keven had two children, Adam and Casey, bless their lives. In 1994 Gina married Jesse Quintanilla. They had three children, Sarah, Julie and Sean, which made their family complete. They loved to go camping or hiking as a family and spend time together. Gina remained extremely busy running her business as well. In 2000 Gina and Jesse divorced and Gina moved to Colfax in 2007. She struggled with some health issues and unfortunately wasn't able to be super active in the community. She made her home in Colfax quietly enjoying her surroundings. She met Jon Aldrich and after several years of friendship they married in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on May 2, 2015. Gina is survived by husband Jon at their Colfax home; her 5 children, Adam James Krag of Tacoma, Casey Jen Krag of Bellingham and Sarah Nicole, Julie Marie and Sean Ryan Quintanilla all of Pullman; 2 grandchildren, Callie and Colton Krag; her father and step-mother, Mel and Irene Skelton of Omak; her mother, Virginia Kucera of Colfax; and sister and brothers, Melady McAtee, Glen Skelton, Paul Coppock and Craig Coppock. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
