HOWARD E. FORSTER, 72, of Pullman, passed away on Thursday morning, Dec. 12, 2013 at his Pullman home. Howard was born May 9, 1941 to Theodore & Frances Forster in Canada. He moved with his family to Pullman where he attended school, graduating from Pullman High School. Howard returned to Canada and served in the Canadian Navy where his love of the water began. He worked in the marina industry for years and later operated a vending machine company. Howard returned to Pullman to care for his father and has made Pullman home since that time. Howard married Sharon Taylor on May 23, 1998. He enjoyed boating throughout his life as well as NASCAR, playing darts and gardening. Howard especially enjoyed time with family, especially around the barbeque. He is survived by his wife Sharon at their Pullman home; his daughter Kelly (Warren) Helfrich of Penticton, British Columbia; a stepdaughter Melanie (Dale) Smithee of Moscow; stepson Brian Taylor, Moscow and three grandchildren Jacob Helfrich, Brandon Taylor & Micheal Nyman. Howard was preceded in death by his parents. The memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman, WA.
