Jane Guido of Pullman, WA passed away from natural causes on October 19, 2023. She was born Jane Andrea Cary on November 28, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY. She married John Guido in 1960 and they had two daughters, Carrie & Megan. Jane earned her Master of Social Work from Adelphi University in New York and worked with teenage mothers at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. In 1976, John took a job at Washington State University at Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections and the family moved from Vestal, NY to Pullman, WA.  Jane worked at Pullman Montessori and at Smith Gym in Women's Athletics throughout her career. She served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children and was a long-time member of the Whitman County Democrats. Those who preceded her in death include John Guido of Pullman; her sister Eleanor Riley and brother Richard Cary. Survivors include Carrie Lee (Jerry Lee); Megan Guido (Jeff Kimberling); granddaughters Alicia Lee Colasurdo (Chris Colasurdo); Lindsey Lee; Ariana Nazari; Gabriella Nazari; Faye Gardner; Grace Gardner; Skye Merickel (John Merickel); and great granddaughters Isabelle Colasurdo and Adrienne Colasurdo.

Services will be held on Friday, November 3 at 2 p.m. at Community Congregational United Church of Christ (CCUCC) in Pullman. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Jane are requested to make a contribution to one of the following:  Whitman County Democrats, CCUCC or Whitman County Humane Society.  Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
