IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Johnny Houston
Siegel
June 8, 1935 – February 11, 2025
Siegel, Johnny Houston
John went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2025 at the age of 89. He was at home lovingly surrounded by family. John was born on the family homestead near Pine City, WA in June of 1935 to Hugh and Dorothy (Squires) Siegel. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Freddie Siegel. Together they have four children; Doug (Mary) Siegel, Lisa Williams, Nancy (Loren) Pemberton, and Corde (Janet) Siegel. He is also survived by his sister, Connie Paulson; nephews, Keith (Loretta) Paulson, Russell (Judy) Paulson; grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Pemberton, Kara (Jason) Brown, Amy (Josh) Schull, Wendy (Fred) Hunt, Andy (Jordan) Siegel, Cody (Jessica) Siegel, Heather (Joey) Guske, Michael Williams and eight great grandchildren. Johnny was a lifelong farmer on the family homestead. Growing up he was an avid hunter and enjoyed yearly salmon fishing trips and camping. In addition, John delivered milk to the local community, served eight years at Fairchild AFB in the Air Force reserves, and attended college at EWU. He was a proud member of Kenova Grange for 75 years, Cheney Hi Flyers square dance club, Lilac City Sams Travel Club, and the Malden Community Church. After his son, Corde, took over the family farm, John and Freddie spent 15 years exploring the south near their winter home in Yuma, AZ and camping with the Lilac City Sams Club. In recent years, you would still find John running for parts or driving his gator down country roads to check on cows and crops. He was loved and respected by his family and community and will be missed by all.
