JUDITH R. "JUDI" SMITH, 63, a resident of Troy, ID passed away on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA from complications due to a stroke. Judi was born Sept. 10, 1950 in Vancouver, WA to Kenneth & Lavern (Gipe) Sattgast. She grew up in Lewiston, ID and attended school there, graduating from Lewiston High School. Judi attended Lewis & Clark State College and later began her career as a secretary and bookkeeper with the FBI. She worked in various industries throughout her life until she retired. Judi was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister & homemaker. Her family was of special importance to her throughout life. Judi loved her animals and enjoyed spending time with a good book. She was a member of the Baha'i Faith. Judi is survived by her husband Brad Vonhof at their Troy home; two sons by previous marriages Heath Smith of Beaverton, OR; Patrick Rothanburg (Laura) of Jacksonville, NC; her daughter Tatania Emmick living in Iowa;her mother Lavern Crow; two sisters Nancy (Jeff) Jacobs of Uniontown; Connie (Mike) Coggburn and her four grandchildren Elise, April, David & Anya. She was preceded in death by her father. A graveside service will be held at Lewis & Clark Memorial Garden Cemetery in Lewiston, ID. A memorial service will be held at a later date in November.
