Obituary

Larry Merle Jackson, 60, of Pullman passed away at his home on July 20, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 28, 2014 in the chapel of Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman. Larry was born in Goldendale, Washington on December 17, 1953 to Merle & Nadine (Grooms) Jackson. He grew up around Goldendale and graduated high school there. He moved to Pullman in 1972 to attend Washington State University and later accepted a job with WSU's Central Stores as a truck driver. He was still working at WSU at the time of his death. Larry loved to take day trips around the area with his friends. He had a big heart and was very generous to those who needed his help. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Larry is survived by his brother Alan (Pam) Jussila of Goldendale and his dear friends Lucus Fuller of Emida, Jay Glessner and Tom Carpenter of Spokane as well as many others around the Palouse region who knew him. Memorial contributions in Larry's memory may be given to the Pride Foundation, Spokane office. Kimball Funeral Home & Crematory of Pullman has been entrusted with arrangements.
