Ada Mae Kinsinger, 77, longtime area Steptoe resident, passed away at her Colfax home on November 9, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17 at the Bruning Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Fox officiating. Private family burial will follow at the Colfax Cemetery. Ada was born on July 26, 1938 in Roanoke, Virginia to Thomas & Mary (Kauffman) Worley. She was one of 22 siblings. She is survived by her five children Charles (Becky) Hall, Arla K. Stanard, Tonya (Dean) Prewitt, Timothy (Terri) Fox and Theresa (Travis) Blofsky. She is also survived by nine grandchildren Melissa, Jeremy, Evan, Kayla, Kristen, Kolbie, Timothy Jr. "TJ", Jessica and Tanner as well as great granddaughter Lucy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Wayne Kinsinger, in 2007, son-in-law Jay Stanard in September 2015 as well as her parents. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Whitman Hospital Auxiliary to benefit the comfort care quilting program or to the Council on Aging. Bruning Funeral Home of Colfax has been entrusted with the arrangements.
