Marcus Charles Fowler, 37, of Uniontown, WA died November 12, 2016 at his Uniontown home surrounded by his family. Marcus was born July 10, 1979 in Lewiston, ID to John & Pat (Collins) Fowler. He grew up in Craigmont, ID, and graduated from Highland High School in 1998 where he played basketball. He attended North Idaho College where he received his degree in law enforcement. Marcus married Mandy Acheson on June 10, 2000 in Lewiston. Marcus served as a police officer for the Lewis County Sheriff's Department as well as the Kamiah Marshalls Office until 2012. In addition, he obtained business degrees from the University of Idaho and owned and operated Living Spring Residential Care Center, an assisted living center, with his mother and Golden Girls Residential Care Center with his brother. Marcus enjoyed basketball, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles. Following the onset of his illness Marcus really developed his love of fishing. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pullman and was active with, Better Fishing Ministries. Marcus is survived by his wife Mandy at their Uniontown, WA home; his parents John & Pat Fowler of Lewiston; a brother Lucas (Michelle) Fowler of Lewiston; two sisters Rachelle Rose (Paul) Bainton & April Rose (Obakeng) Moreo; his maternal grandfather Charles Pete Collins and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and his paternal grandparents. A memorial services celebrating Marcus' life will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1300 SE Sunnymead Way in Pullman, WA.
