MARIA L. CHANLATTE, 92, recently of Pullman, WA passed away on July 12, 2013 at her Pullman home. Maria was born Feb. 18, 1921 in Puerto Rico to Luis & Josefa Sobeca. She grew up in Puerto Rico and in 1948 married Marino S. Chanlatte in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. They made Puerto Rico their home where she was a devoted wife and mother raising the family and always providing for them. Later in life Maria & Marino moved to Pullman, WA where they lived for 11 years before moving to Fort Worth, TX where they made their home until returning to Pullman in September of 2012. Maria loved music and flowers. Her for most dedication was to her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Marino of Pullman; her children Olga Chanlatte Stockle of Pullman; Eddy Chanlatte of Briarwood, NY; Jesus Chanlatte of Puerto Rico; Ruben Chanlatte of Fort Worth, TX; Luis M. Chanlatte of Dallas, TX; Marino Chanlatte of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren Ricardo & Carlos Colon of Pullman; Michelle Chanlatte of Puerto Rico; Lena Chanlatte of Atlanta, GA; Marino Chanlatte of Puerto Rico; Laura Chanlatte of the Dominican Republic; Joel Chanlatte of Texas; Lorena Chanlatte of Orlando, FL; Joan Chanlatte of Texas; Nicole Liselot Chanlatte of Texas; Kyrsten Roberts of Colorado & Nicole Roberts of Texas. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, July 15th from 9 AM to 5 PM at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman, WA. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1015 NE Orchard Dr., in Pullman. Vault interment will follow at the Pullman Cemetery.
