Mary Evelyn Bennett, 86, of Albion, WA and recently of Pullman passed away January 18, 2026 of multiple health issues at Regency of Pullman Assisted Living.  Mary was born September 3, 1939 to John & Helen (Vantrease) Morgan in Lewiston, Idaho.  She accepted Christ as her personal savior at 5 years old.  Mary lived in the L/C Valley, Troy and Moscow, ID, and Pullman & Albion, WA.  Growing up in Moscow she graduated from Moscow High School a year early in 1956.  Mary married Paul James Bennett, of Spokane, WA on September 7, 1957 and they were married for almost 57 years.  She will be buried next to her husband, Paul.  Mary moved to Regency Assisted Living in Pullman in August of 2022 after living in Albion, WA for 63 years.  She is survived by a brother Donald John Morgan and his wife Sue; two daughters Rachelle Mary Bennett and husband Roy; Marlene Esther Bennett; and son David Paul Bennett and wife Delores; and several grandchildren.  Mary & Paul lost a newborn in 1963.  A graveside service will be held at the Pullman Cemetery for family and close friends at a later date with Janice Busboom officiating.  Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
