MARY KAY STEVENSON, 62, of Spokane, Washington and formerly of Pullman, passed away on March 13, 2014 in Spokane. Mary Kay was born Feb. 15, 1952 in Pullman to Roy Harper & Lois Fleishman Brown. She grew up in Pullman until her junior year of high school when she moved to Spokane, graduating from Lewis Clark High in 1970. Following graduation Mary Kay began her career in retail sales, working in various stores throughout the Spokane area. She married John Stevenson in 1977 and they enjoyed traveling together throughout the United States. They later divorced. Mary Kay loved animals, especially her dogs. She was a compassionate person who always thought of others. She is survived by her mother Lois Brown of Spokane; her brother Michael Harper of Gig Harbor, WA; her niece Nicole Harper and her nephew Ross Harper. Her father Roy preceded her in death in 1999. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Pullman Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA is caring for the family.
