Matthew Ray Cook, 60, of LaCrosse, passed away at his home on September 28, 2015. At his request no services will be held. Matt was born in Lewiston, Idaho on November 5, 1954 to George & Sharon (Miles) Cook. He grew up in Asotin, Washington and completed his mechanic degree at LCSC. He met Katherina McGuire during his college years and they dated for five years before being married in Mesa, Arizona on November 4, 1983. Matt and Kat raised their children in Clarkston while he worked as a mechanic work from home. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as fishing. They moved to LaCrosse in 2009. Matt is survived by his wife Kat at the family home in LaCrosse, his children, 23 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of choice. Bruning Funeral Home of Colfax has been entrusted with arrangements.
