Norma Nadine "Dee" Jones passed away at her home in Potlatch, ID on September 25, 2022 at the age of 96. She was born on January 17, 1926 in Yakima, WA to Frederick and Ruth Schmoe. She was the second of six children. Dee was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, horses, birds, and gardening. She is survived by her children; Joan C. Bielby of Chiloquin, OR, J. Carl Robertson of Layton, UT, and V. Leonard (Len) Mathia of Potlatch, ID; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Marjorie Roberts, Laura Northrup, Robert Schmoe, Ardith Roberts, and Betty Gadberry; as well as husbands, Art Franklin and Herb Jones; grandchildren, Bobbie and Mariah Mathia, and Joshua Robertson; and great-grandchildren, Zachariah Robertson and Evangeline Mathia. A graveside service will be held on October 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM at the Colfax Cemetery. Corbeill Funeral Home in Colfax is caring for the family.
