Obituary

Nicholas Leo Nash, 67, of Palouse, Washington, passed away on October 9, 2025 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID.  Born on December 6, 1957, Nick was a devoted friend to many and a kind and thoughtful brother.

Nick attended the University of Idaho, where he received a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts. He spent many years designing and building sets for theater productions.  He also had a great appreciation for art. He was known for his drawings and paintings, creating beautiful and compelling artwork for various formats ranging from large murals to small frames.

Nick was an engaging and thoughtful man, often making new friends through his inquisitive nature and friendly demeanor. He was active in the Moscow, Idaho, social scene, with a wide circle of loving friends and companions.  Nick was also an avid sports devotee who followed several professional teams. Many will remember him as a super fan of the San Francisco 49ers and referred to him as "Niner Nick" not only during the football season, but throughout the year.

He is survived by his sister, Julia L. Nash as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Nash, and his father, Thomas B. Nash.

A Celebration of Life for Nick will be held on Sunday, November 9, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the 1912 Center, 412 East 3rd Street, Moscow.  Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
