Patricia Ann Flodin, 85, of Genesee, ID passed away Thursday, October 30th, 2025 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Patricia was born Tuesday, July 23rd, 1940, in Moscow, ID to Walker & Betty Mae (Benjamin) Holder. She was a bright child. She grew up in Moscow alongside her brother and sisters and their childhood dog, Penny. Patricia graduated from Moscow High School where she played the Clarinet and participated in the marching band.
Patricia married Curtis Flodin on February 21st, 1958 and briefly settled down in Moscow. In 1961, they moved to Tacoma, WA, where Curtis began his service in the military. During their time in Tacoma, Patricia and Curtis welcomed their first son, Timothy. Following Curtis's honorable discharge from the military in 1963, the family then moved to Genesee, ID, where they made their home and later welcomed two more boys and two girls: Tony, Terry, Michelle and Tonia.
Patricia was a homemaker and took great pride in raising the family. She enjoyed game nights where her and Curtis played pinochle with friends and family and had many laughs. Throughout the years she worked in the home childcare industry taking care of her five children, grandchildren and others. Patricia also worked for a time at Asgrow and as a cook for the Genesee School District. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, hummingbirds, music, dancing, baking, canning and visiting the ocean. Patricia was an avid Gonzaga basketball fan, and the best Granny. She followed all the kids, grandkids and great grandkids sporting events and activities throughout the years. She loved her family very much. Patricia also loved being involved in community events of all types. She was a longtime member of the Genesee Boosters and devoted many hours to helping with activities for the Genesee Volunteer Fire Department.
Patricia was a beloved mother, granny, great-grandma, GG, aunt, great-aunt, sister, cousin and friend. She meant a lot to so many people and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her daughters Michelle Flodin (late James Frasure); Tonia (Jeremy) Mayer; her sons Timothy Flodin; Tony (Debbie) Flodin; Terry (Stephanie) Flodin all of Genesee; her brother Ted (Cherryol) Holder and her sister Donna Trammell (late Larry Trammell), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, her 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and another due in December.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Curtis Flodin; sisters Jeanette Askins and Kay King; granddaughter Samantha Flodin and grandson Curtis Flodin.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 14th at 11:00 AM at the Genesee Fire Hall followed by a potluck reception. Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.corbeillfuneralhomes.com
