Peggy Jo Miller, 87, of Pullman, passed away March 9, 2017 at the Avalon Care Center in Pullman, WA. Peggy was born Sept. 26, 1929 in Carbon Hills, Alabama to Zenis & Dorothy (Woodman) Tomlin. As a young girl Peggy moved with her family to Mojave, California where she received her education. She married Billy Dean Miller on January 15, 1960 and together they made Mojave their home. Mr. Miller preceded Peggy in death in 1982 and in 1984 she moved to Colfax, WA where she lived until moving to Pullman in 2007. Peggy was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked through the years as a housekeeper in the hotel industry. Peggy enjoyed family time, jigsaw puzzles and taking walks. She is survived by her daughter Joann (Tony) Haynes of Pullman; 2 grandsons Anthony (Claudia) of Pullman; Michael (Jessica) of Spokane; 3 great grandchildren Orion, Beyani & Hazel and one sister Barbara Felli. In addition to her husband Billy, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Charles, Curtis, and Eleanor. No local services will be held. Peggy will be buried at the East Kern Cemetery in Mojave, CA with her husband Billy. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
