Peggy Jo Siple, 70, of Pullman, WA passed away August 5, 2024 at Bishop Place Assisted Living in Pullman.  Peggy was born on November 25, 1953 in Pullman, WA to George "Bud" and Lois (Dyer) Siple.  She grew up in Pullman and graduated from Pullman High School in 1972. Peggy attended Washington State University and worked for the WSU libraries for a time.  She later lived in Spokane Valley, WA and worked at a Spokane Valley public library.   Peggy returned to Pullman later in life where she had made her home. Peggy was a very social person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She developed deep friendships with other residents and the staff at Bishop Place. She cared deeply for people and never forgot a name. One of her favorite pastimes was working on word puzzles. Peggy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pullman.  She is survived by her sister Kathleen (Jim) Thummel of Pullman; her brother Gene Siple; brother-in-law Jim (Lois) Smith; nephews Gregg (Jessie) Thummel, Gary (Benedict) Thummel, Chris (Jessica) Siple, Darin Smith, and Ryan Smith; also, nieces Deena Simmons, Kelly (Phoebe) Inviere, and Janelle (Keola) Munden.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Velda (Jim) Smith and her brother Glen Siple.  Memorial service will be held at Bishop Place Independent Living Social Hall in Pullman on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:30pm. A reception will follow.  Peggy will be laid to rest at the Pullman City Cemetery with a family service at a later date.  Corbeill Funeral Home, Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, it is suggested a donation be made to Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse.
