Penny Rae Gilchrist, 86, passed away on July 9, 2026 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA. She was born on March 8, 1940 in Spirit Lake, Idaho to Robert and Wanda Lewis. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Colfax Community Church (formerly Colfax Methodist Church). A Graveside Service will immediately follow at the Colfax Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jerry. A full obituary will be posted soon.
