E. Raymond Jensen, 89, of Pullman and formerly of Moscow passed away Feb. 22, 2019 at Bishop Place in Pullman, WA. Raymond was born March 16, 1929 in Moscow to Samuel & Elizabeth (Boughton) Jensen. He grew up at the family home near Blaine and attended Blaine School until transferring to Moscow, graduating from Moscow High School. Raymond married Valerie Ougland on May 5, 1948. Raymond worked for area farmers for a time until he and Valerie purchased their own farm outside of Moscow. He spent his entire life working the land and enjoying all it had to offer. Raymond and Valerie enjoyed their life together and especially bowling, golf, dancing and winters in Yuma. They also as a family loved their time outdoors while camping, fishing and hunting. Raymond was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge; the Elks Lodge, the Masonic Temple and was very involved as a Shriner through the years. He is survived by his sons Leon (Sandra) Jensen of Orofino, ID; Lyle (Debbie) Jensen of Asotin, WA; a sister Helen Tribble; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Valerie in 2013; his parents; 3 brothers Robert, Kenneth & Donald and a sister Marge Severence. A memorial celebration for both Raymond and Valerie will be planned for early spring. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
