Obituary

Raymond James Warner, 84, of Pullman, WA passed away January 6, 2026 at Regency of Pullman Assisted Living.  Raymond was born July 29, 1941 in Colfax, WA to Orville & Dorothy (Lakin) Warner.  He grew up in Pullman, graduating from Pullman High School.  In 1959 he entered the National Guard, serving for eight years.  After high school, while serving in the National Guard, Ray lived in Pullman and worked at his brother Larry's service station for a time.  Raymond went on to work for the United States Postal Service in 1963, and following many years of service retired in 1994.  He then worked as a Cabinet Finisher in the local home building industry.  Raymond married Charlotte Rhett and together they had four children, later divorcing.  On November 11, 1987 Ray married the love of his life Diane Emerson in Coeur D'Alene, ID and together they have made Pullman home since that time.  Ray's passions included woodworking, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and never forgot his first motor cycle, a Harley Davidson.  He is survived by his wife Diane; his daughter Sabrina Ugwu; his three sons, Dan (Gail) Warner; Shane Warner; Dale (Eunice) Warner; two step-children Teresa Green & Shane (Kealan) Emerson; his siblings Brad, Larry, Roger, Richard, Janet & Joanne; 14 grandchildren and his great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  No public services are planned at this time.  Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.
