Robert "Bob" Clyde Germain passed away October 27, 2025, in Pullman, WA at the age of 83.  Bob was born to Clyde and Cornelia (Hunter) Germain on October 15, 1942, in Colfax, WA.  Bob grew up on the family farm outside of Pullman and graduated from Pullman High School in 1960.  After high school he served in the National Guard. He was honorably discharged and returned to the Palouse to become a homebuilder.  Bob took over operation of the family farm in 1980 when his father retired.  He also owned and operated a swimming pool store, Pools, Etc., for many years during the 1980s. In 2000, Bob retired from farming but continued to work as an independent home inspector in the area.  Bob married Caroline Hilty-Jones on September 8, 2002, and they made their home together on the farm.  When he wasn't working, Bob enjoyed collecting and restoring antique International Harvester wheel tractors and attending meetings of the Antique Power Club of the Palouse.  Bob was a member of the Steptoe Community Church.  He is survived by his wife Caroline Germain; his daughter Shelley Calissendorff; his son Steve (Leigh) Germain and grandsons Boone and Von; his sister Gayle Gutierrez; and brother David (Dorothy) Germain.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister Maria Dickenson.  The memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1 PM at Corbeill Funeral Home, Pullman, WA.
