Robert Daniel Repp, longtime Colfax resident, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Whitman Health and Rehab Center. He was 90. A private family graveside will be held at the Colfax Cemetery. Robert was born on April 27, 1929 to Reinhold and Mathilda (Litzenberger) Repp in Endicott, Washington. He was raised outside of Endicott on Lee Road and attended school in Endicott. As a young man he worked at the Thera Elevator. In 1950, Robert entered the military where he served in the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. After returning home from the military, Robert married Virginia Harris on February 27, 1953. Together, Robert and Virginia had two boys, Daniel and Bill Repp. Robert worked for the county his whole life. He was appointed the county assessor at age 39 and worked until he was 66 before retiring in 1994. Robert is survived by his son, Bill Repp at the family home in Colfax and by his dog, Sweet Pea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, son Daniel, and by a sister, Eleanor Faith.
