Ronald Lester Marose, of Pullman, WA, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the age of 70.
Ron was born to parents Elinore and Elmer Marose on December 9, 1945 in Waukesha, WI. Ron was a 1964 graduate at Waukesha High School and a 1970 graduate of Northwestern University with a Master's Degree in Journalism.
As a reporter Ron worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, WKBT TV, Winona Daily News and the Moscow Pullman Daily News. He was also a writer and editor for The Coulee News, most notably for his humorous column "Running Amok with Ron."
An active member of the church, Ron was called to study theology later in life graduating in 2007 from Union Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.
Ron is survived by his daughter Emily (Kris) Eggert of Woodinville, WA; sons Andrew Marose of Las Vegas, NV and Matthew (Emily) Marose of Elmwood, WI; his sisters Lynn Dornbach and Roseann (David) Falada of Waukesha; niece Amy (Matt) Retzak and nephew Chad (Becky) Dornbach of Waukesha; as well as granddaughters Caitlyn and Kylie Eggert and Leanna Marose.
Ron is proceeded in death by his parents, Elinore and Elmer.
