Sharon McGlothlin, 66, passed away October 30 at her home in Colfax, WA.
Sharon was born the youngest of 5 children in Kirkland, WA. During pregnancy Sharon's mother contracted toxemia with albumin urea and high blood pressure. Those complications led to her developmental disability. In 1958 Sharon was admitted to Lakeland Village where lived for many years and had a job of making beds and assisting care to other residents. During the late 1970's, Sharon moved to Paul's Place until 2007 when she moved to an adult family home in Pullman, but then moved out because the AFH wasn't able to get Sharon out into the community as often as Sharon was used to. Sharon moved to DreamWorks in 2011.
Sharon's hobbies include coloring, dressing her babies, shopping, going out to eat, collecting watches, and taking care of people. Sharon loved meeting new people and loved small children.
A service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00 am at Bruning Funeral Home.
