Obituary

Sharon K. Moser stepped into heaven on June 25, 2025. She was 76.

She was welcomed in by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is Home! She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Inez (Nelson) Gould and a daughter Cherith Ann Moser.

Sharon was born July 11, 1948 the first child of Donald and Inez Gould. She grew up a farm girl in northwest Iowa. She graduated from Central Lyon High School in 1966 and attended Iowa State University in Ames, IA. She there met  Paul Moser and married June 1, 1969. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at Iowa State University spring 1970 and began teaching the next fall. But God had other plans and after 1 year of teaching she and Paul began their journey in ministry first in Omaha NE and then to western Nebraska at New Hope Friends Church in Hay Springs, NE. There they welcomed three children: Michaela, Seth and Aaron. They moved to southwest Missouri to continue their ministry in the mid-80s. While she and Paul's marriage did not last, her faith in the Lord never faltered. She went back to teaching and faithfully taught at College Heights Christian School and Neosho Middle School until she retired in the spring of 2010. She then moved to North Pole, AK and eventually to Colfax, WA in the winter of 2014. There are not enough words to express her faithfulness in the Lord. Her greatest desire was for all to come to know Jesus. Her conversations with everyone would be laced with this, turning often to his faithfulness and love and greatness.
She is survived by her children Michaela (Darren) Engel, Seth (Leah) Moser, and Aaron Moser (Magda Dolan). And her grandchildren: Nathan, Joshua, Matthew, and Levi Bouldin. Kianna and Jillian Engel. JamIson Moser, Fletcher, Duncan and Eleanor Martin. Ben, Blake (Aubry), Will (Madison) Sanders. Her brothers Brad (Vicki) Gould, Doug (Deb) Gould, and sister Sandy Laschiavo. As well as a great host of close friends and students here in Colfax and scattered across the globe. While she is greatly missed here, how great is the rejoicing in heaven!
Her Memorial service will be held at Colfax Community Church on July 19, 2025 @ 2pm with a potluck to follow. Please bring a dish to share.

Please address gifts and condolences to Colfax Community Church in leu of flowers. Corbeill Funeral Homes in Colfax is caring for the family. On-line condolences may be made at www.corbeillfuneralhomes.com
