Sherron Ann Strevy of Colfax passed away on September 28, 2023 as a result of a worsening medical state. She was with family when she passed at Whitman rehabilitation center. She was the daughter of Doyle Gordon Bryan and Martina Rosalee (Matheny) Phillips. Sherron had 10 siblings. She was born in Wapato, Washington. Sherron spent most of her childhood years in LaCrosse, WA where she met and married Michael Strevy in May of 1962. She was widowed in 2020 when her husband Michael passed away unexpectedly. They were married for 58 years. Sherron is survived by her children, Nelda J Strevy, Sherry (Randy) Johnson, Michael (April) Strevy, Brenton (Jerilee) Strevy, and Samantha (Daryl) Strevy. She has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her career was spent as a certified nursing assistant in Whitman and Latah counties. Per Sherron's request she will be cremated and her ashes will be tended by her family. The family suggests memorial donations be given to the local EMT's or to the Whitman Hospital.
