SHIRLEY ANN CREITZ, 68, of Pullman, passed away on March 1, 2015 at Avalon Care Center in Pullman, WA. Shirley was born Aug. 1, 1946 in Colorado Springs, CO to Jess Stanton Jr., and Gladys (Warling) Stanton. She grew up and attended school in Colorado Springs graduating from high school there. Shirley met James Parker Creitz in high school and fell instantly in love. They were married on Feb. 8, 1964 in Colorado Springs. They celebrated their 51st anniversary this past February. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker her entire life. The family made Colorado their home for many years later moving to Montana. Following Jim's retirement they moved to Pullman in 2003. Together they have made Pullman their home since. Shirley's family was her life and she so enjoyed time spent together, especially with the grandchildren. She also had a love for animals throughout her life. Shirley was a member of the Pullman Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her loving husband James P. Creitz at their Pullman home; her son Jim (Randi) Creitz of Billings, MT; her daughter Anne (Fidel) Smeagol-Carpio of Denver, CO; her son Steve (Dawn) Creitz of Caldwell, ID; her son Scott (Hope) Creitz of Lewiston, ID; her son Randall (Kristie) of Clovis, CA; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Pullman Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1120 SE Klemgard St., in Pullman. Concluding services will follow at Pullman's IOOF Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
