IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Steven "Steve"
D. Sitton
April 1, 1952 – May 16, 2018
Steven Dean "Steve" Sitton, 66, of Pullman, passed away May 16, 2018 at Pullman Regional Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Steve was born April 1, 1952 in Ritzville, WA to Robert & Wilma (Haase) Sitton. From Washtucna the family moved to Pullman where Steve grew up and attended school. He graduated from Pullman High School in 1971. Steve worked at Washington State University for a time before going to work in the construction industry where he became a master mason among many other things. Steve worked for many years with John Teague Construction before he retired. Steve married Wendy Dunn and they later divorced. Steve was a master craftsman who enjoyed working with wood and was very artistic. He loved the outdoors especially fishing, mushrooming and rock collecting. His back yard was as pristine as any park where he loved to spend time entertaining. Steve loved his dogs Max and Junior, every morning he would walk through Pullman with them at his side. His many other interests included Blues Music and area Blues Festivals; especially Sun Banks, Ritzville and Joseph, Oregon. Steve is survived by his mother Wilma Brewer of Lewiston; his father Robert (Marguerite) Sitton of Clarkston; sisters Christi (Brian) Lipscomb of Sedro Woolley, WA and Bonnie Patey of Spokane; and his 2 nephew and 2 nieces; and Steve's extended family and many great close friends. A gathering for family and friends will be planned for later this spring. The family suggests memorial donations to the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation or to the Whitman County Humane Society. Kimball Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. As a loyal fan of Washington State, Steve would want to say one last time "GO COUGS".
