Susan C. Miller passed away on August 9, 2026 at the age of 80 years old. She was born on July 18, 1946 in Elk, Washington. She moved to the farm in Cheney when she was 5 years old and lived there her entire life. Susan belonged to several Grange organizations and proudly held the title of grange princess at one point. She held dear her affiliation with SCOPE and continued volunteering/attending meetings even this past year. Susan was kind and always thankful. She so appreciated being invited over for meals and spending time with her close neighbors during the holidays. One of her favorite hobbies was genealogy. Her ability to recall family members and their succession in her family tree was one of her greatest skills. She had an amazing memory. She spoke often of her memories including working with her family on the farm, walking the shelter belt at the farm daily, and spoke often of her favorite trip to Hawaii with her mom and sister. Susan loved animals-especially cats and most enjoyed living on the farm. Susan is survived by her sister Janet (Criag) Bailey and her numerous relatives and close friends. 

She will be laid to rest in the St. John Cemetery next to her parents on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Viewing at Corbeill Funeral Homes in Colfax will be Monday, August 17, 2026 from 12:00 - 5:00 PM and Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 9:00 - 5:00 PM.
