Virginia Lee Davies, 68, of Pullman and formerly of Palouse, WA passed away April 26, 2017 at her Pullman home. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Pullman Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1055 NE Orchard St. Virginia was born Sept. 8, 1948 in Salem, OR to Leonard & Doris (Nevdahl) Davies. The family moved to Yakima, WA where she grew up until they later came to Pullman, WA. Following school Virginia made Hawaii home and later the Yukon Territories of Canada until moving back to Washington where she lived throughout the Puget Sound. She was a custom design jeweler for 30 years creating many wonderful pieces of work. Virginia returned to the area settling in Palouse, WA until moving to Pullman in 2015. She enjoyed plants, flowers, jewelry, sparkly things, beads and had a special love of all animals. Virginia always supported the Whitman County Humane Society over the years. She appreciated find craftsmanship and beautiful clothing. Virginia was devoted to her Mormon faith and loved her Palouse, WA community. She lived a life of struggle but it never stopped her from finding the beauty of the world in people and things. Virginia was indeed a dreamer. She is survived by her son James (Wendi) Corbeil of Renton, WA; her daughter Jessica Robertson of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada; three grandchildren Willow Corbeil, Isabelle Robertson; Annissa Robertson-Coish; brother Les (Margaret) Davies; sister Sandi (Stan) Howard; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Chandler. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangement. Memorial donations are suggested to the Whitman County Humane Society.
