Wayne McHone, 73, of Colton, WA passed away September 1, 2025 at his Colton home.  He was with his sister, Terry, sister-in-law Janice and granddaughter, Shiloh when he died.  Wayne was born June 17, 1952 in Marysville, California to James & Esther (Merrill) McHone.  Wayne grew up in California and following high school completed his Associates Degree.  He went to work with his sister Terry in the health care industry as a computer programmer, later working for the Jopari Company.  Wayne made Vallejo and Penn Valley, California home until moving to Colton, WA in 2023.  He was a devoted parishioner in the Catholic Church for most of his life and took great pride in raising his granddaughter, Shiloh.  Wayne had a special love for music and was an accomplished guitarist.  He had his own band, "Sunrise" for many years.  He dearly enjoyed his family and was a great cook.  Wayne is survived by his granddaughter Shiloh McHone; his daughter Winter McHone; sister Terry McHone of Colton, WA.  He was preceded in death by his parents a brother Gary and sister Joann.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Gall Catholic Church in Colton.  He will be laid to rest at the Sutter Memorial Cemetery in Sutter, CA at a later date.  Corbeill Funeral Home of Pullman, WA has been entrusted with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to www.corbeillfuneralhomes.com
