William Dale Hinds, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was born October 19, 1935 in Anacortes, Washington and went home to be with Jesus on July 12, 2025 in St. John, Washington. He was 89. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Christian Life Assembly in St. John. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
He was born to Prince Albert Hinds and Mary Lavita (Noice) Hinds. He attended school in Anacortes, WA. graduating from Anacortes High School in 1954.
He met the love of his life Donna Lou McDougle in 1952. They dated off and on until October 1, 1955 at which time they married and began a long marriage of 69 ½ years. During their early days of marriage, they lived in Sedro-Woolley, then in 1956 they moved to Anacortes, WA. They moved to Oregon for a short time then back to Anacortes WA. In February of 1967 they bought a home in Sedro-Woolley WA, settling in the Hickson Community where they raised their 6 children. Then in March 9, 2018 they moved to St. John, WA.
During their marriage they had 6 children, 23 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Donna, 6 children; Julie Aamot (Mark), Jacquie DeMuynck (Douglas), Linda Owens (Don), Dennis Hinds (Penny), Thomas Hinds (Becky) and Lisa Martinez (Matthew), 22 grandchildren; Matthew, Joshua, Nellie, Benjamin, Dale, Ethan, Daniel, Jennifer, Kimberly, Leah, MariBeth, Jacob, Robert, Donita, Dennis (Scott), Aimee, Megan, Michael, Mitchell, ReAnna, Richard, Misti; 42 great-grandchildren; his brother Donald (Karen), sister Carol and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Prince and Mary Hinds, his sister Irene Winge, brother Bruce Hinds and his grandson Aaron Aamot (KIA in Afghanistan 2009).
